About Us

African students are ineligible for scholarships through BYU during their first year. And the Tuition and expenses for BYU are an immense, and sometimes unattainable, financial expense for most African students.

 

The goal of the BYU African Student Fund is to provide full tuition for at least one promising African student starting out at BYU as a Freshman or Transfer student) with demonstrated financial need.

 

This will alleviate their financial stresses, and allow them to focus on their academics and social life.This will set them up for a successful first year and put them in a position to be a strong candidate for BYU scholarships in consequent academic years.
